Who uses PartingOut.com?
We have the professional auto recyclers who are the dominate recycling facilities in their regions using parting out to draw attention to those pieces of salvage that have been in the yard without moving for several months/years. There are hobbyists looking for a late model part here and there alongside those working on classic and muscle cars using the Parts Wanted Listing to find those rare and uncommon parts to finish their restoration puzzle.
We also have those individuals who are “occasional seller[s] who funds “project” cars by selling off remainder of parts from “donor” cars.”” We’re also a home for specialists, “I am a Jaguar XJS owner/driver thatspecializes in the 83-91 Jaguar XJS V-12. I have owned XJS’s for 10 years and have been selling parts for 8 years now.”
A little about our Founder @PartingOut
"At around 15 years old I bought my first vehicle, a 1959 dodge pickup for $100. That same year I bought a Jeep CJ-5 and resold it for a $1000 dollar profit. I then started repairing cars going to salvage yards and getting used parts. Later I would buy a car for say, the engine, resale it and more than clear the cost of the car. Before long I had lots of cars for selling parts. Now with 30 years of experience in both buying selling and installing used parts I knew it was time to create a fluid online salvage marketplace based heavily "in the trenches knowledge.""

Last weekend our family was all in town to get the MOPARS ready for our 1st Car Show of the season! Its such a privilege to get together as family, mess around on these old cars, polish them all up, have fun and have great memories with the ones that matter most! We took the 1970 GTX, 1970 Satellite, and 1969 Road Runner to the show (the others are still work s in progress).
